Dear Mountain View Elders,
[I realize that not all of you will be able
to attend our quorum discussion on Sunday. If not, perhaps these
discussion questions will at least help you be there in spirit, and know what
we are thinking about.]
Our discussion will revolve around the
question of why we serve and how we can be more
Christ-like in those efforts. We'll refer to remarks last October by
Primary General President Joy D. Jones ("For Him")
and may also touch on last Sunday's talk by Presiding Bishopric member W.
Christopher Waddell ("Just As He Did").
Here are a couple of questions we'll
consider:
·
In what area of your life do you show your
love for God the most? I.e., what do you do on a regular basis that most
shows your love for God?
·
Do you trust that if you are doing whatever
you are doing out of love for God that He will guide your efforts? If so,
what changes when He is guiding your efforts?
Looking forward to being with you!
—Gary Blakely
