ANNOUNCEMENTS 5-12-19
·         Ward Choir: No choir practice on Sun. May 12th. Happy Mother’s Day! Next practice is Sun. May 19th, at 10:05 in the chapel for a brief rehearsal before sacrament meeting.
·         May 19 Stake Temple Recommend Interviews 7pm at the stake offices. No appointment needed.
·         May 19 English Connect Kick-off Meeting 6pm at the Lynnwood Building. Two different English language classes, 24 weeks each, will begin. One class for beginners and one for advanced English speakers. These classes are open to any Spanish speaker ages 12 and up who wishes to learn or improve their English speaking skills. Please invite any friends that would be interested in these classes. Contact Steve Macbeth (720-351-0429) for more information.
·         May 24 Friday Night Dance Classes with Alta Vista branch The Alta Vista branch invites families to join us for Friday Night Dance Classes at the Lynnwood building (1400 Lynnwood) each 4th Friday of the month between 7pm and 9pm (5/24, 6/28, 7/26). We'll have instruction the first hour and open dance the second. Our instructors will be members of the Alta Vista branch. Hope to see you there!
·         Summer Organ Workshop for youth ages 12-18. Begins June 3rd. Will be held weekly on Mondays 11am-noon in the Lynnwood Chapel. Interested youth should be able to play hymns on the piano. Questions, contact Gay Slade atgayslade@gmail.com.
·         SAVE THE DATE: July 20 @ 4-7 p.m. Join us for the Fort Collins Stake “Stronger Together” Summer Celebration! You (and your friends) won’t want to miss this lively get-together complete with BBQ, activities for all ages, and entertainment!
·         Pornography Use and Substance Abuse Recovery Program Both programs are held every Thursday at 7 pm. These programs provide a Gospel-centered 12 step plan for those who want to recover from addictions. Enter through East door. Pornography use group meets in High Council room. Substance recovery group meets across from HC room 118. Contact Elder and Sister Holbrooks 402-4374
·         Women’s Support Group We provide a Gospel-centered support group for women and family members coping with the addictions of others. We meet every Thursday at 6:30 pm; babysitting is provided. Contact Michelle Parry at 970-301-5345 for more information.
·         SERVICE www.justserve.org: Please check out the volunteer opportunities at Just Serve. For more information, please contact Brother Tom Goeltzenleuchter at tgoeltz@gmail.com.
·         Temple Schedule Adjustments The following 3 schedule changes are now in effect at the Fort Collins temple:
1. Baptistry opens at 6am each Saturday
2. Endowment : A 4pm session is added on Fridays only
3. Saturday morning Endowment sessions: Held 7:00, 8:30,
10:00, 11:30.
Saturday afternoon sessions will remain at 1pm and 3pm
·         The Elder’s quorum lesson will be Pres. Nelson's important April 2019 Sunday AM talk, "Come, Follow Me".

Choir :  There will be no ward choir practice today. Please consider joining the stake choir that is rehearsing today at 5:30 at the stake center , in preparation for stake conference on Feb. 10th. January 31 st   Thursday, Relief Society Activity : Please join us at 7pm in the Relief Society room to kick off the New Year ! Fun trivia & helpful information followed by mingling & refreshments. Nauvoo 2019 Youth Conference Fees   The total cost is $250 each. A $50 deposit should already have been paid. $100 additional is due by  Feb 3rd .  The final $100 must be paid by  April 20 .
