·       RS Activity: Love Languages & Summer Salads. Thursday, August 29th, 6:30pm at Jenny Parks’ home. Come learn about your Love Language and bring a salad to share!

·       Women at the Well Rehearsals: Sunday’s, August 25th-October 6th, 2:30pm in the chapel. Come and sing with your Mountain View & Mid-Single sisters! Performances, October 12th-13th.


·       Volunteers needed for Stake Conference setup. Saturday Sept 7th. 1:00 PM, Stake Center. Signup sheets in RS, EQ, Primary, and YM today.

·       Volunteers needed for Temple Grounds Cleaning assignment, Monday Sept 16th 8 to noon. Contact Will Taylor 672-8883 or 218-7773

·       Self Reliance Groups: We have several openings for the “Personal Finance” and the Starting & Growing Your Business” groups. If you would like to attend beginning Sunday, August 25th at 6:00 PM at the Lynnwood Building for the next 12 weeks contact Steve Macbeth (Tfcbishop@gmail.com) to reserve your place.

·       Aug 25 Stake Choir Practice 4PM in the stake center chapel in preparation for Stake Conference on Sept 7-8.  Choir practices will be Aug 25 and Sept 1. Contact Barbara Jennings with any questions.

·       Aug 25 Stake Temple Recommend Interviews 7pm at the stake offices. No appointment needed.

·       Sep 4 Nauvoo Youth Conference Reunion 7:00 PM, Stake Center.  All Teachers, MiaMaids, Priests, and  Laurels and their leaders are invited as well as all adult leaders who attended the Nauvoo youth conference.
·       Sept 5 Stake Temple Day Please join with other stake members in the Fort Collins temple on Thursday.

·       Sept 7-8 Stake Conference at the Fort Collins Stake Center (Swallow and Stover)

o   Saturday 3:30PM Stake Leadership Meeting
o   Saturday 7PM Adult Session
o   Sunday 10AM General Session

·       Addiction Recovery Program The Addiction Recovery Program helps individuals overcome addiction through Jesus Christ and His Atonement. Please join us for meetings every Thursday at 7:00 pm for General Addiction (High Council room) and Men’s Pornography (across the hall). Come in the Stake Center East Doors.   For information please contact Elder and Sister Holbrooks 970.402.4374

·       Women’s Support Group  We provide a Gospel-centered support group for women and family members coping with the addictions of others. We meet every Thursday at 6:30 pm; babysitting is provided. Contact Michelle Parry at 970-301-5345 for more information.

·       Sep 27 Friday Night Dance Classes with Alta Vista branch The Alta Vista branch invites families to join us for Friday Night Dance Classes at the Lynnwood building (1400 Lynnwood) each 4th Friday of the month between 7pm and 9pm. We'll have instruction the first hour and open dance the second. Our instructors will be members of the Alta Vista branch. Hope to see you there! (Next class Oct 25)

Choir :  There will be no ward choir practice today. Please consider joining the stake choir that is rehearsing today at 5:30 at the stake center , in preparation for stake conference on Feb. 10th. January 31 st   Thursday, Relief Society Activity : Please join us at 7pm in the Relief Society room to kick off the New Year ! Fun trivia & helpful information followed by mingling & refreshments.
