Announcements Aug 18, 2019

·         Fort Collins Temple Closed August 12 - 26.  Reopens Tuesday, August 27th.

·         Aug 17th & 24th Accelerated Find a Job Group 9am - 2pm at the Fort Collins Harmony Road Building, 1320 W. Harmony Rd. Self Reliance Group to help individuals in perfecting their job search including resumes, power statements, and interview skills. Preregistration required: e-mail Sister Box at susiebox1@gmail.com. If no preregistrations, no group will be held. 

·         Aug 18 Stake Relief Society Service Project  We are collecting new or gently used backpacks and school supplies for the Greeley School District Family Center. This center helps families connected with the Global Refugee Center and migrant and homeless families. Collection is for students grades K-12. All basic school supplies are needed, such as crayons, pencils, erasers, folders, notebook paper, glue sticks, etc. Look for donation boxes in each building

·         Aug 18 Stake Choir Practice 4PM in the stake center chapel in preparation for Stake Conference on Sept 7-8.  Choir practices will be Aug 18, Aug 25, and Sept 1. Contact Barbara Jennings with any questions.

·         Aug 18 Seminary Orientation 6PM at the Fort Collins Stake Center and the Loveland Stake Center (same time - attend the building for your seminary) for all seminary students and their parents.

·         Aug 22 First day of seminary

·         Aug 23 Friday Night Dance Classes with Alta Vista branch The Alta Vista branch invites families to join us for Friday Night Dance Classes at the Lynnwood building (1400 Lynnwood) each 4th Friday of the month between 7pm and 9pm. We'll have instruction the first hour and open dance the second. Our instructors will be members of the Alta Vista branch. Hope to see you there! (Future classes Sep 27 and Oct 25)

·         Aug 25 Stake Temple Recommend Interviews 7pm at the stake offices. No appointment needed.

·         Sep 4 Nauvoo Youth Conference Reunion 7:00 PM, Stake Center.  All Teacher, MiaMaid, Priest and  Laurel-aged youth and their leaders are invited as well as all adult leaders who attended the Nauvoo youth conference.

·         Sept 5 Stake Temple Day Please join with other stake members in the Fort Collins temple on Thursday.

·         Addiction Recovery Program - Individuals overcome addiction through Jesus  Christ and His Atonement. Please join us for meetings every Thursday at 7:00 pm for General Addiction (High Council room) and Men’s Pornography (across the hall). Come in the Stake Center East Doors. ·         Women’s Support Group - We provide a Gospel-centered support group for women and family members coping with the addictions of others. We meet every Thursday at 6:30 pm; babysitting is provided. Contact Michelle Parry at 970-301-5345 for more information.

Choir :  There will be no ward choir practice today. Please consider joining the stake choir that is rehearsing today at 5:30 at the stake center , in preparation for stake conference on Feb. 10th.
